Week 8 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

What a wonderful half term we have had. We made bath bombs, baked, visited my great aunt, went to the cinema and had a meal out. It has been the best week and after the week we've had I will be very sad to wave the girls off to school on Monday.

Here's a photo for every day!

47/365 - 16th February
My fella made his stew/broth/soup thing. It's a recipe passed down from his mam and it takes a whole day to make because he has to soak the broth & soup mix. It's filled full of veg and gammon. He ate it for every meal for a couple of days, some went in the freezer and the kids even loved it too.

48/365 - 17th February
An empty house on a Sunday is a rare thing. Becky is usually stuck on the sofa but her and Ellie both went out to play and to the park!

49/365 - 18th February
Ellie made some bath bombs.

50/365 - 19th February
Both of the girls did some baking! Unicorn cupcakes and chocolate mint brownies!

51/365 - 20th February
We went on an adventure to visit my Great Aunt. We came so close to missing the train because of the slow Metro getting us to Central Station but we were lucky, it was running late. Phew!

52/365 - 21st February
We had a lazy day in the house with lots of playing, computers and a film. Ellie was playing schools with her dolls.

53/365 - 22nd February
We had a fab day out yesterday. My fella and Ellie went to watch he new How to Train your Dragon film and Becky and I went a did a bit of shopping. It was lovely spending a few hours just me and her.

  4. Sounds like a perfect week. The slow cooked broth sounds very tasty. I've never made my own bath bombs, maybe I should start this hobby now? :)
Lovely that girls baked for you, I wish I had someone bake for me. Did Ellie like How to Train your dragon? We watched it earlier this month, and it was lovely (much better than the Lego movie).

  6. What a lovely week. Ooo the bath bombs sound great I would love to make my own. And it sounds like the baking was very inventive. We are yet to see the film but hopefully we will make it before it stops. It’s nice you got to spend some time on your own shopping. I struggle to get single child time as such but when we do they always appreciate it xx
