We have had a couple of weeks of foodie treats. A Valentine's day meal deal the week before valentine's day, an afternoon tea, a Chinese takeaway, pancakes, delicious pork and honey roasted carrots during the week and last night we had more treats, another takeaway!
I fancied a night off cooking and with Ant and Dec back on TV it was a reason to celebrate with a takeaway. I treated my family to pizza, garlic bread, chips and burgers. There are leftovers for today too.
That does sound a nice break from cooking and always good to have leftovers! Since this lockdown started we've been having fish and chips every Friday. The break from deciding what to eat, cooking, shopping and clearing up is very much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteWe had a take out for Graham's birthday and he chose an Indian curry which was a real treat because we don't have them very often. I hope you enjoyed yours. x

ReplyDeleteThe perfect spread! Especially when you have leftovers for the next day. Pizza, it’s the gift that keeps on giving.
ReplyDeleteEither I can’t leave comments on your blog or I’ve left about 15. Sorry if it’s the latter! The pizza sounds great!
