(Ad - Gifted) TW Kempton Gin Liqueur. A great gift for Mother's day!

It's turned into a bit of a cliche now that mums drink gin but a lot of us do. A few months ago I wanted nothing to do with gin after being put off it when I was a teenager. I may have stolen a bottle from my dad when I was about 13 years old, sat in a park with my friends, drank it, was sick and had my first and worst ever hangover! Gin's have changed now though. There are amazing gin liqueurs and so many flavours. They're nothing like the gin I drank when I was a teenager and I quite like them now.

Adding to its already popular range of botanical gin liqueurs, TW Kempton’s latest addition, Strawberries and Cream brings a fun new flavour twist as we head into the Spring and the Summer season. It also adds a fun new flavour twist just in time for Mother’s Day.

Strawberries and Cream is perfectly paired with tonic water for a delicious long drink or mixed with lemonade for refreshing summer sipping. The limited edition flavour created especially for Tesco nods to quintessentially British flavours and seasonal celebrations. Strawberries always makes me think of the summer, tennis and Wimbledon.

Strawberries and Cream

I am saving this for when we can have people over in the garden, hopefully in the summer when the weather is nice and we can have a little get together. I am looking forward to trying the Strawberries & Cream Hard Shake!

How to make a Strawberries & Cream Hard Shake:

Ingredients: 50ml TW Kempton Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur.
3 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
50ml half and half.

Method: Blitz the ingredients until smooth and top with cream and a strawberry. And if you’re feeling extra fancy, add a drizzle of strawberry sauce!

TW Kempton Gin Liqueur's are available exclusively from Tesco for £9.99 per 50cl bottle.

I was sent a bottle of TW Kempton Gin Liqueur in exchange for this blog post.

  2. Oh wow, that gin sounds amazing! So far, my most favourite gin I've tried is raspberry and rhubarb. I might have to give this one a go though - the hard shake sounds like a lovely treat on a summer's day.
