I have loved this past week even though I felt like I have been so busy with one thing and another. We started the week with fixing the damage that Storm Darragh created and ended it with a couple of deliveries of Christmas presents from friends.
Christmas feels like it's coming around so quickly. This time next week and it will almost be here! I still have a few bits to do but I feel on top of everything now, well mostly!
Now for a photo every day!
This was the damaged to our fences caused by the storm. Ugh. One panel down, 2 damaged and then another couple down. We left everything where it was on Sunday as it was still so windy and wet out.

My brother came with his super power tools to help fix the fence. We wouldn't have managed without him. The weather still wasn't great but the sun was trying to get out between the showers.

Anther Christmas meal out, this one was the best one! The food was amazing and we were sat right by the fire which was a real bonus on a cold day.

I got me a TV guide for over Christmas. Yes I have one on my TV but it's not the same. It's the only time I buy a paper one and spotted quite a few things which I most likely would have missed. It has been decided (by me) that we're watching BBC1 all of Christmas day. It has all the best TV shows on including Gavin & Stacey which I can't wait for.

Ellie has a Hello Kitty Advent calendar and these are the figures she has got so far. She loves little things like this and will end up finding space for them all in her bedroom.

A giant Babybel! They are not a myth, I totally thought they weren't real until I saw them in Asda. I think they were £3 each. My girls used to love them years ago. I remember at one point I stopped buying the little one's as they were eating far too many in one sitting. lol They soon learned to control their portions.

Chocolate!! Yum!! The lovely Jayne sent me a box of Cadbury goodness for Christmas. Ellie was there when I opened the box and it made her day to see the Santa's Sleigh kit as I have always said no to buying one as they're too expensive. hehehe She also said I can't eat any until Christmas as that's what I've been telling my family about everything that I have bought. She's got me on that one.
Storm Darragh was savage wasn't it?! God, it really wrecked your fence panels. Thank god your bro and Stu managed to fix it all. Our gate flew off the front and almost ended up in the lock and a massive tree came down on the farm track.
ReplyDeleteLet's talk about these Christmas dinners you've been enjoying...I'm quite jealous lol.
That Babybel looks huge! Hehe.
Glad Ellie liked the Santa's Sleigh kit. My two have tried raiding our lovely hamper you got us and I'm like nope! You will have to wait for Christmas, hehe (although I may have sneaked a couple out). xx
Glad your fence is fixed. My dad is still waiting to have his done.
ReplyDeleteSo much yummy chocolate in your post! I hope you are enjoying the run up to Christmas.
What a yummy box of chocolates! I have never seen a Babybel so large.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness the size of that Babybel! My kids would love that I've never seen them in the shops. How lovely of Jayne to send you those delicious treats for Christmas. I've bought the What's On TV guide and am going to sit down later and set things up to record that I don't want to miss.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are enjoying the holiday season with chocolate and Baby Belles. #MMBC
ReplyDeleteOh dear, your fence did bear the brunt of Storm Darragh didn’t it?! Glad it’s all fixed now. There’s something nice about having a paper TV guide at this time of year. Ellie’s Hello Kitty figures are so cute. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a giant Babybel before. What a lovely box of chocolate from Jayne. #project365
