What I have loved this week! Week 2. #FridayFavourites

Here we are, Friday again and this past week has flown over! It's the first week after Christmas and of the new year where we have been back into a routine. Work for Becky and Stu and college for Ellie. I of course have some favourites to share and I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share them!

What I have loved this week

The Traitors!
I am well and truly hooked on it! Get them before they get you. 22 strangers, one castle, £120k - Claudia Winkleman hosts the ultimate reality game of trust and treachery. It is on to the 3rd series and I am so late getting into it but I don't want to miss an episode now!

Terry's Chocolate Orange Eggs!

Terry's Chocolate Orange Eggs

Terry's Chocolate has released an orange cream-filled egg and I was desparate to try one. I looked in the shops near me and there were none but my eldest picked me a couple up while she was on here travels. They are so good! Obviously the shell is Terry's Chocolate Orange chocolate and inside it orange cream which reminds me of the Orange Cream chocolates out of Quality Street!!

The Masked Singer UK.
It's back for a new series and the show infuriates me but I love it at the same time! I hear the people singing under the masks and am so close to guessing who they are but can't put my finger on exactly who they are! There was a bumper weekend of it and Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway and Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith were unmasked. I will be watching again on Saturday guessing along!

Facemasks!

I have been trying to pamper myself a bit more with skincare, taking a bit longer in the shower and doing facemasks. I got a big bundle of them for Christmas, all different scents, types and flavours and have been using at least one a week!

The central heating!
We couldn't have done without it this week, it has been a cold one. We were promised snow over the weekend and here we got a little, more of a dusting which was washed away by the rain by lunchtime on Sunday. Elsewhere in the UK got more but we weren't as lucky. Hmmf. I love the idea of snow but the reality of it just brings chaos. I don't usually have the heating on when I am the only one at home but Wednesday I had to, only for half an hour but it was enough to warm me and the living room and because the girls weren't opening and shutting doors it stayed warm.

This candle!

Candle and vase on the fireplace

Warm apple and cinnamon, gingerbread and frosted vanilla, it smells so nice and I am only on the apple and cinnamon layer. It has been nice to burn candles when it has been so cold out, it always makes me feel cosy!

Pottering around the house!
It has been nice to have some normality back and I have just been pottering. Getting jobs done that I put off or didn't do over Christmas and I am on a decluttering mission. Sorting the kitchen and bathroom cupboards, my wardrobe and giving everywhere a good clean! I have really enjoyed being busy but at the same time doing everything at my own pace!

First Episode of WWE Raw on Netflix!
I knew it was going to be something special but it was amazing!! The Rock, Undertaker, John Cena and Hulk Hogan all made special appearances, the matches were perfect and all of my favourites won! I had goose bumps when it started, they went all out with their premier on Netflix and it really is a new era!!

Online food shopping!

Online food shop

I feel so lucky that we can get our food shop delivered, especially this week. I had it booked for our usual Thursday but by Tuesday I realised we were running out of essentials like bread, milk and fruit. I blame the fact we got the last one delivered last Tuesday, it's knocked me all off track. I managed to change it to come on Wednesday instead. It did mean that I didn't have to go out when it was icy to buy what we needed. Hopefully by next week we will be back on track getting it on Thursday!

What have you loved this week?

  4. There are so many great things here! I love a cinnamon scented candle; right now I am still burning my pine scented ones since it's winter. I love face masks! I should get one soon to help my dry skin. I hope you enjoy your weekend, friend!

  6. The Traitors is just brilliant isn't it, I think Minah is playing an excellent game but the rest of them are just rubbish.
I record Masked Singer so I can fast forward the many ads the only problem being is that I see spoilers on TikTok before I've got round to watching it.
That candle looks lovely, those crackle wick types just add to the cosyness.

  8. I need one of those Terry's eggs. Not found one yet. I'm currently watching the new Squid games and i've missed both episodes of the masked singer, so hopefully going to catch up this week. #MMBC
