The Top 7 Tag.

The lovely Jayne at Sticky Mud & Belly Laughs asked me if I wanted tagging in The Top 7 tag and I said no at first but I read her blog post and wanted to join in. hehehe I can't help myself. I do love a tag!

To do this one you share 7 blog posts, 7 things that we have loved back in 2018 and 7 things we are looking forward to this year!

My 7 Favourite Blog Posts From Last Year.

I am cheating a bit with this. In November it was my blogs 6th birthday and I wrote a blog post called My favourite blog posts from the last year which has all of my favourite blog posts. Do go and have a nosy. I would also add the It's not Autism it's Social Anxiety one to the list too because it finally gave us some answers about Ellie.

7 Things I Loved Last Year

1. We had our first proper holiday! We have never been away as a family and as an added bonus went away with my dad and Sarah his partner at Christmas.

2. Working with some amazing brands and companies here on my blog. I am so lucky to be sent some wonderful things to review and I am always so grateful.

3. My dad being alive! It may sound dramatic but he had a stroke early on in 2018 which was a wake up call for him. He was working more than 12 hours a day and it has made him slow down and take better care of himself.

4. Becoming more confident in real life and blogging.

5. Both of my girls settling in well for their new school year! I was especially worried about Ellie starting secondary school but I really needn't have stressed. The biggest stress we have had is her having blisters from her new school shoes in the first week.

6. Friends! I have a fantastic few friends in real life and some fab one's online too. They're always there to listen and offer help when it's needed.

7. Being more relaxed about life. I have not over planned things and just let things happen. It has made me stress a lot less.

7 Things To Look Forward To This Year.

1. Maybe going to a blogging conference later this year.

2. Seeing more of my family.

3. Becky getting through her GCSE's. She has been working hard and later this year she will be sitting her GCSE's and leaving school. Eek!

4. Getting the house decluttered. I've already started with the bookshelf in the living room. It became a dumping ground over Christmas.

5. Going on another holiday!

6. Turning 40! I must be mad but I am quite looking forward to it. I am hoping for at least a night away, a meal out and maybe a party. I am going to make the most of having a milestone birthday!.

7. Having more days out. When the warmer weather comes we are aiming for one a fortnight. To the beach, a museum or somewhere further afield.

I'm not tagging anyone because most of the bloggers which I know have already done this tag or have already being tagged.

  3. Being more relaxed about life is a good one! It's so easy to get caught up in things that ultimately don't matter. Just need to be more positive.

  5. Definitely milk your 40th and get as many events planned in as you can. I turned 40 five years ago and I loved every minute of it. Being in your forties is great. Best of luck to Becky in her GCSE year. Having gone through it last year with my son, I know how stressful it can be x
