Last weeks meal plan went. We swapped a couple of meals around but everything was eaten. The kids said the burgers in buns were better than McDonald's one's and the home made pizza was better than a takeaway one. I will take that as a good thing. It's been ages since we've had a takeaway and even though we just used to get just one a month we're not really missing them. Well apart from that one day when I found out the local chip shop had reopened with online ordering and delivery which they never had before. I hope they keep that after all of this is over. We made our own fish & chips on Friday. It was good but not the same as from the chippy.
This week on the menu we have:
Tuesday - Quiche and salad.
Thursday - Stir-fried noodles.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - A fake KFC. Chicken, corn on the cob, coleslaw, fries and baked beans..
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.

ReplyDeleteWe have only had take out a few times; like when we lost power just before dinner on Saturday! I am loving this curbside pickup all the restaurants are offering and I kind of hope they can keep it up after they open back up.
ReplyDeleteLovely meal plan, like the sound of the Fakeaway KFC, i'm gutted that some are open for delivery in areas, but not in ours. Sounds like a good week.
