(Ad - Gifted) Game of HAM - The ultimate party game!

There are millions of different board games out there with the majority aimed at children but sometimes us adults want something to play too, maybe over a few drinks with friends. Recently I was sent a game to have a look at which is aimed at over 18 year olds.

Game of HAM is the game that will take you to the next dimension of fun and is definitely not meant for children. There are many components to the game that creates a unique and fun way to have a good time with friends and family. This is the ultimate party game that has endless possibilities and variants that will make you squeal with laughter.

I thought this game would be perfect for Becky and her friends. It is described as Cards Against Humanity meets Sorry (but a little darker). I think it is perfect for their sense of humour.

Each game contains:

810 Cards
16 Player Pieces
4 Board tiles (double-sided for 2 different boards)
4 Placeholders
1 Rulebook (24 Pages)
1 Quickstart Guide.

How to play:

You can play with as little as 3 players and more than 16. The main way to play the game is with the cards and board. A judge reads a prompt card and each other player puts a response from the 10 cards they have. The judge then picks the winner from the round. The player that wins moves forward on the board and gets a variety of ability cards. The first player to reach the end goal wins!

This video might explain it better.

Games can be as short as 20 minutes or as long as 2 hours. It depends on the group size and speed of plays. There are two instruction booklets one with the quick rules and another with many different ways to play the game.

The Game of HAM is full of dark humour and if not for the easily offended. I am not saying that lightly. I saw a few cards and thought you can't say that. Eek!

The prompt cards are mostly all innocent. Here is some examples of them.

The fun comes with the response cards. Some of them are pretty offensive, funny and twisted. It sounds so wrong but it is a lot of fun. I did find some of the nicer responses to show you.

There are many ways to play this game and could just even play it with the cards without the board but I think the board adds something extra to it.

Becky is having a couple of friends over at the weekend and they are planning on playing this. I have looked through the cards and some of the combinations you can come up with are hilarious in a dark sort of way. It's not one to play with the grandparents but I think young adults will absolutely love it!

Game of HAM is currently available in the US and should be in Europe soon You can find out more about Game of Ham via their website.

I was sent this game free of charge in exchange for this blog post.
