Our weekly meal plan! 14th - 20th September. #MealPlanningMonday

Last weeks meal plan went great but I didn't really have much cooking to do with it being Becky's birthday and having a takeaway and a meal out. It was a nice and easy week for me which was just as well it was tiring with it being the first week back at school.

Now that the birthdays are over with we've said we're having no more takeaways. We've had 3 in just over three weeks and to be honest we're sick of them. Saving a bit of money will be great too. We're ready for some home cooked food.

This week on the menu we have:

MondaySlow cooker Peanut chicken with rice.
Tuesday - Tuna salad.
WednesdayTomato Mac and Cheese.
Friday - Fish, chips and mushy peas. (Out of the freezer).
Saturday - Prawn cocktail salad with tomato garlic bread.
Sunday - A fry up. Sausages, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, black pudding, beans and tomatoes.

What are you eating this week?

  1. Beef and tomato casserole is a huge favourite here - especially when the weather gets colder. I like to cook it long and slow in the oven. We usually have it with rice but mash is a great idea too :)

  2. That all sounds lovely. The peanut chicken sounds great - I went to check the recipe and the website looks like it has loads of inspiration on there. I will investigate :)

  3. I've not done a meal plan again this week. Last week I was in hospital for hours every day and when I got home cooking was the last thing on my mind. We did get a Mindful Chef delivery which I hadn't ordered so Graham enjoyed making those. I got my money back, so free food, I can't complain. I've not done a menu this week because I just couldn't get my head around it so we'll have whatever I can rustle up.....a fry up sounds good though.....mmm sausages xx
