Week 53 of #Project366 - A photo every day for a year!

So here we are we're in 2021. Happy new year! I do hope that it's a better year than last year. With the vaccines been given out there is hope despite most of the country being on tier 4, schools reopening later in January and the numbers of confirmed cases and deaths being pretty terrifying!

Now for a photo every day These are the photos from the last week in 2020.

The masked singer on TV and a sugary treat of waffles and marshmallows
My eldest with a new face mask
New laptop and the Christmas decorations being packed away
A frosty morning

361/366 - 26th December
I didn't take a photo for today, just a video but took a screen shot. We love watching The Masked Singer here. We're useless at guessing who's under the mask and never get it right but it's a fun show.

362/366 - 27th December
Ellie made a sugary treat for brunch. Waffles with marshmallows on. She showed me this and I thought that was it, no! She added squirty cream and chocolate sauce too. lol

363/366 - 28th December
Becky's girlfriend came for a visit so they could exchange presents. We didn't break any rules, "A" stayed in her mums car while we had a quick chat at a distance. One of the presents was a Billie Eilish face mask. She loves it.

364/366 - 29th December
New laptop day! Hooray! It doesn't look much different from my old one but it is so much faster! I can have games loaded up in seconds and even the speed of the internet has jumped up. It's amazing!

365/366 - 30th December
We took the tree and decorations down and had a good clean. As much as I love the decorations and Christmas it is nice to have a clutter free living room again.

366/366 - 31st December
Now snow here but we did have a lot of frost. It was still in the garden way after lunchtime. I'm glad I didn't have to go out in it.

  1. The girls love watching the Masked Singer too...although I am not really a fan. Oh waffles and marshmallows...would never have thought to try that combo!

    Happy New year x

  2. Ooh love waffles but we never have them here. I should get some really and see if N likes them. I love new laptop day. It's always so fast in comparison to the old ones. Mine has a wonky/broken screen hinge so I really need to think about sticking it or looking for some deals on new ones. But I love it so much, I don't really want a different one

  7. The marshmallows and waffles combo looks sweet enough already before the chocolate sauce and squirty cream! Lovely to have a new laptop that is much quicker and I love that feeling of a bit more space after the decs come down too. Glad Becky and A were able to exchange presents. Happy new year to you all. #project365

  9. I always feel the house looks really empty once the decorations come down, well done with the girls following the rules with social distancing, it must be hard for young love being apart, but they seem to be coping well, I hope they are anyway. Happy New Year to you all and those waffles look amazing btw

    1. It really does look bare, even now. I guess that's why people like to decorate in January.
Becky and her girlfriend are annoyed with not seeing each other but they're sticking to the rules, thankfully x

  10. I've just got a new battery for my laptop and it makes such a difference! We take down the decorations in the first weekend in January and I hate how bare the house seems. #project366

  11. The waffles look fab! I always see something I fancy eating in your weekly updates haha. It must be hard for the girls not being able to meet up properly but glad they got to exchange gifts. I always feel relieved when the tree is down after almost a month up to reclaim some space! x
