Our weekly meal plan! 22nd - 28th March. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went great. We swapped a couple of meals around and the chicken fried rice had added egg noodles. It felt like a bit of a Chinese takeaway which is a good thing.

I am very excited for this week. Becky is back at college and I will have a whole day to myself and will be home alone for the first time this year then the day after she gets her vaccine so we'll be having a trip into town. She did say she would go herself but I would rather be with her just in case she does feel unwell on the way home. I'm sure she'll be fine but I do worry.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - A roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings.
Tuesday - Leftover roast dinner pie with mash.
Wednesday - Fish fingers, chips and baked beans.
Thursday - Tuna, sweetcorn and pasta.
Friday - Pizza Nachos.
Saturday - Diet coke chicken with rice.
Sunday - A fry up. Bacon, sausages, mushrooms, fried eggs, baked beans, tomatoes and toast.

What are you eating this week?

  1. I haven't made diet coke chicken in ages! I will have to add that to next week's meal plan. I love being reminded of old recipes I've forgotten about. #MMBC

  3. yet again, I've not managed a meal planning post. I do plan on having a fry up sometime this week though, it's been a while since we had one. I like the look of those nacho pizzas, not sure my lot would go for them though. we like nachos and pizza but we have both very plain. x

  7. I think I'd feel more comfortable accompanying my child too; I hope she doesn't have any side effects though. Your menu sounds yummy! I have been doing just awful at sticking to ours.. but am determined to make ALL our meals at home this week following my plan.

  8. Ooh that all sounds yummy. I've got the chicken fried rice from your last week's meal plan on my meal plan for this week. We're adding some crispy duck and pancakes with ours. Left-over roast dinner pie sounds delicious. That's another one for me to add to my list of ideas! #MMBC

  10. I had forgotten about your tasty pie recipe until I saw I had commented on it when you first posted. I have a Pie Magic gadget that I got via Freebay. Saves putting the oven on if I just want to make 1 or 2. I did my variant on Kedgeree last night, boil some rice in stock, add smoked mackerel, hard boiled egg, peas and corn. Very simple. Think a traditional kedgeree uses a different type of fish
