Our weekly meal plan! 7th - 13th June. #MealPlanningMonday

Our Weekly Meal plan

The less said about last weeks meal plan the better. It didn't go to plan. We didn't eat anything off apart from a roast dinner of some sort which ended up being sausages, mash and veg. There was no real reason it didn't go to plan, we were just busy with other things, Becky spent a couple of nights at her girlfriends and it was too hot to spend much time in the kitchen. Around about tea time our kitchen gets all of the sun so once the oven is on it is roasting in there.

The kids are back to school and college this week after a lovely half term break. We're into the home stretch heading towards the summer holidays. Becky has 3 more days in college but spread over 3 weeks and we worked out Ellie has about 7 weeks until she finishes year 9. This week Becky and I will be going into town where she will be getting her 2nd vaccine. She is looking forward to it.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - Meatballs and pasta.
Tuesday - Leftover meatballs in sub rolls, covered in cheese.
Wednesday - Tuna rice salad.
Thursday - Greggs pasties and probably a cream cake.
Friday - Fish & chips.
Saturday - Burgers in buns with corn on the cob.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.

What are you eating this week?

  1. That sounds like a yummy menu for the week and the tuna rice salad sounds delicious. We get weeks when the meal plan goes a bit out of the window too, especially when it's hot. #MMBC

  3. I've not published my meal plan again, but I do have it written down to refer too and I tried to keep to the minimum shopping. We all have weeks when things don't go to plan, but it seems your week was exciting anyway, sometimes it's okay to step away from routine. xx

  5. Can I book in for tomorrow please? I love how you keep it real on your blog. Things don't always go according to plan for all of us but the people I like most admit that. You are a more than good enough woman and mum. #MMBC

  7. That sounds yummy! We're having a lot of fish and chicken as I am trying to make up for all that over indulging over the weekend.

  8. I know the feeling when things don't go to plan, but at least you have a plan. I always find this better than panicking about what we can eat at 4.30pm on my way home from work.

  11. Sounds like a super tasty week! I hope you're well and thanks for linking up! The heat is a bit of a motivation killer when it comes to cooking isn't it!
