Our weekly meal plan! 13th - 19th December. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went well. We didn't end up having the stir fry and had burgers in buns and fries instead with chocolate gateaux after. It was a lovely Saturday evening. It was the first Saturday night that Becky has been home since she has started work. She's either been working or at her girlfriends but after them both having colds they're staying away from each other to recover properly and be well for Christmas which is very sensible of them.

This is the last week of school and college for my girls this year and it seems crazy to think that next weeks meal plan will be the Christmas one which I am very excited about. We just have to get through this week which I am sure will drag. Ellie has an appointment at hospital mid week, just a hearing check. She's deaf in one ear so it's to keep an eye on her good ear. We are also planning to have a last look in the shops before Christmas which I am very excited about as I've heard there is a fleecy Harry Potter pj set in Primark. Fingers crossed they still have it in my size.

On the menu this week we have:

Tuesday - Soup of some sort with sandwiches to dip in.
Wednesday - Something that we pick up in town. I have no idea what yet.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - One pan chicken fajita bake with rice.
Sunday - A fry up. Sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms and black pudding.

What are you eating this week?

I am linking up with Karen over at Cat's, Kids, Chaos who is now hosting the meal planning linky.

  1. One pan chicken fajita bake sounds really yummy and you can't beat a good Sunday morning fry up :o)

  4. Sounds a great week. Especially Thursday. Eek yes I really need to think about what we are going to eat over the Christmas period. At least there's Christmas dinner, takeaway night and buffet to cover some of it here.
