In June I was grateful for... #365DaysOfGratitude

I have seen many people on social media list something every day that they are grateful for and thought I would join in and have on my private Facebook account every day and I thought I would share here too. I am hoping to continue it for the rest of the year and longer.

Today I am grateful for

Day 152 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for a quiet day at home with my girls. We haven't really done much but it's been nice after a busy couple of days.

Day 153 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for my bed! After leaving the house at 8am this morning for a fun day out at Skegness we got back just before 5pm. Had an hours sit down and was back out to celebrate the jubilee locally. We didn't get back until 10pm. I am well and truly knackered!! We will be having a lie in tomorrow!

Day 154 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for more Jubilee celebrations locally. A beer & cider festival. This afternoon Stu & I went off to the church to join in the fun while Ellie was out with her friends and Becky was sleeping for a night shift. I had 3 different ciders. A rhubarb one, a strawberry one, a dark fruit one as well as a hot dog for tea.

Day 156 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for Titanic being on Disney+ now. I've been fancying watching it for ages but couldn't find until today. I always forget what a good film it is.

Day 157 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for This new thingy. I've seen them loads on TikTok, the crystal hair remover and wanted to give it a try. It works. It's no quicker than shaving your legs with a razor but it is less faff. You just rub where there's hair and the hair is gone. I got mine off ebay and it cost about £8.50.

Today I am grateful for a walk out to see my dad. Sun was shining and it was nice to see him.

Day 161 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for exciting news for Stu. He's got a new job. Working in a call centre with no selling, it's full time and he's very excited about it. He starts Monday! Eek!

Day 162 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for fun times with friends!! Went to the college for a fun day they were running this morning with Ellie, her friend and her friends mum. It was really nice.

Day 163 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for our Gousto box being delivered with no hassle. We are looking forward to a tasty week of meals.

Day 164 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that Stu had a great first day in his new job. Working in an office is going to take some getting used to but he enjoyed it.

Day 165 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that my pumpkins are growing, they have flowers on now. It's progress on last year, I didn't get any flowers and they soon died off.

Day 169 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for a fun day out with my girls. A trip to the cinema to see Lightyear and a bit of shopping after.

Today I am grateful for a lovely day with my family. Stu had the best Father's day all finished off with a Chinese takeaway.

Day 171 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for a tidy house. We had a busy Saturday where hardly anything was done then a lazy day yesterday when even less was done. I spent today getting everything back in order.

Day 172 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that Becky has finally had a sort out in her bedroom and gave it a good tidy. The floordrobe was starting to stress me out.

Day 173 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for the hosepipe! I have that much to water in the garden now, it would take forever filling the watering can.

Day 174 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that it has cooled down a little and it looks like rain!

Day 175 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that I've found Glastonbury being shown on the iplayer. Watched Sam Fender and I'm looking forward to Billie Eilish later. I will probably end up watching it again with Becky, she's missing it as she's at work.

Day 176 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for a long lie in this morning for us all. It was needed.

Day 177 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that the ice cream man eventually turned up! I'd given up hope and had a choc ice out of the freezer. I was gutted when I heard his music. It was just the kids getting something.

Day 178 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that we are well and truly settled here. This time 3 years ago we were leaving Ashington in Northumberland to move to North Lincolnshire. Time really does fly. It was a big move and scary but we've never been happier!

Day 179 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful for a delicious meal tonight. Thai-Style pork patties with sweet potato wedges & salad from Gousto. It's not something we would normally eat but we will be again. It was easy to make and tasted amazing! I did end up with 16 patties instead of 8. lol I obviously made them too small but it didn't make a difference to the taste.

Day 180 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that Becky has completed 3 years in college. It was her last day today. She officially starts full time work over the weekend, still at the care home where she's been working part time! I am so proud of her.

Day 181 of #365DaysOfGratitude
Today I am grateful that Becky baked a coconut and jam sponge cake. It turned out really well. Stu was even happier, it's his favourite cake!

What were you grateful for in June?

  1. I found it difficult to share the things I was grateful for as some of our greatest achievements are rather personal. I can honestly say I was grateful that my daughter's birthday last week went really well and that she was really happy with all her presents and treats. It's always a bit of hit and miss but this year it was definitely a hit!
