Our weekly meal plan! 11th - 17th March. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went well, we only skipped one meal and that was on Wednesday when my family decided that they wanted home made quiche again. Ham and cheese for the girls, ham, cheese and mushroom for Stu and I had ham, mushroom and tomato. I love how when you make quiches yourself you can add whatever you want. For years I went without eating them because I am allergic to cheddar cheese. (it gives me migraines). I still prefer it without any sort of cheese.

We are having one last week of our own meals before we go back to getting the one's from Gousto. When I was younger I loved the idea of picking my own meals but as an adult it is such a responsibility and a chore trying to pick things that everyone is happy with. Gousto makes it easier as my girls like trying new things and get to pick a meal each for the week.

We don't have much on this week, in fact I have no plans at all. It's just going to be a normal week. Becky is off to stay at her friends for a couple of days, they are off for a night out. Oh to be young again. lol

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - Pie and mash! I have some of the nice one's from Iceland in the freezer.
Tuesday - Pork and apple sausages and potato wedges.
Wednesday - Meatballs and spaghetti with garlic bread.
Thursday - Leftover meatballs in buns covered in cheese.
Friday - Scampi, chips and mushy peas.
Saturday - Pizza. Home made this time. We got takeaway last Friday but it was just a once in a while treat.
Sunday - A fry up! Sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans with toast.

What are you eating this week?

  1. I was thinking about making meatball subs for our small group meeting. I found some really nice mini sub rolls that would be perfect. Vic will be round to yours on Sunday, lol, a fry up is probably his favorite meal!

  5. Ugh, yes it is so hard to meal plan for a whole family; there are so few meals that all 5 of us are willing to eat.
