Usually I get my Project 365 blog post written up during the day, usually at around lunchtime but here I am at half past seven last night just getting around to it. Things have been busy here. It was Becky's birthday, we've had 2 meals out, Becky had a few days visiting Newcastle, we decorated the kitchen, there's just a few more little things to do before it's finished, yesterday we spent most of the day at my dad's and I have been trying to keep on top of the housework and all my normal jobs.
Now for a photo every day!
I took some before pictures of the kitchen, before we started decorating! It is looking totally different now! My dad popped in to see the progress yesterday and was amazed with the change.

The painting began! I wasn't too keen on the teal colour but it looks so much better when it had dried on the walls.

The birthday girl! Becky turned 22 during the week, she had a great day and loved all of her presents. We of course went out for a meal to celebrate.

Hailstones! Can you believe it! Of course it came just at the time I had to leave to pick Ellie up from college. Stu took pity on me and he did the honours. A few minutes after he left the house they got even heavier and there was thunder and lightning too. Eek!

An empty bus is so welcome on a morning, coming home after being on the bus that goes to college with all of the teenagers when I drop Ellie off. The silence is just heavenly!

Baby Guinness! We had a meal out and finished it off with a couple of shots. These are my favourite.

We went to my dad's. Ellie was happy to pose for a picture.
Happy Birthday Becky!! Love the colour of that paint and I do enjoy a baby Guinness too
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of your week!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed every photo and I hope Becky enjoyed her birthday! #MMBC
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Becky. Love that colour - most of our house is boring magnolia (all except the living room which is a very faded terracotta orange after all the years since it's been painted)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous round up of your week! That paint color is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Becky. Guiness shots sound good. I'm well impressed with the kitchen transformation. Well done Stu with the bus trip in the hail.
