Hello there and Happy Sunday! What do you have planned for today? We have no plans at all which I am very excited about. There's no DIY happening which makes a nice change and I am planning on doing as little as possible. I was looking out into the garden earlier and was thinking the grass needs cutting, that can be a job for Stu. hehehe
It has felt very much like Autumn here, even as I am writing this yesterday it looks lovely and sunny outside but it is still quite chilly and I am sat here in fleecy pj's which I love. I have been doing all the things to feel cosy and embracing Autumn, for the first time in forever I am not feeling sad that summer is over.
Now for a photo every day!
Stage 2 of decorating the kitchen, painting the inside of the cupboards. They took longer to dry and are such a faff especially since we decided to put vinyl wrap on the shelves but they are looking great now. You can see the end result on my Instagram.
267/365 - 23rd September
I am loving shutting the curtains earlier on an evening when it starts to get dark. Usually coming on for 7pm. It won't be long before I am shutting them about 4pm. Eek!
268/365 - 24th September
One of our meals from during the week. The honey and soy beef stir fry from Gousto! We've had it before and it's a good one which we all love.
269/365 - 25th September
I am making the most of having washing out on the line even if I was keeping an eye on the black clouds. We've been forecast rain every day this week and I'd say only half of it has arrived. I feel quite lucky after seeing about the floods on the news.
270/365 - 26th September
I joined the queue for the pre-sale Coldplay tickets, hooray for living in a postcode area that had first pick. They sold out in about 20 minutes and I didn't get anywhere close or in the general sale on Friday. The next round of tickets which are released on the 22nd of November and I will try again.
271/365 - 27th September
I am loving coming in for the day and putting my pj's straight on and filling a hot water bottle.
272/365 - 28th September
The last flower in my garden.
It's been so much colder especially this weekend. Today i've got my long sleeved thermal top on and jumper, but I'm still cold, even under a blanket. Going to have to start shutting windows. Fingers crossed for both of us in the November tickets attempt
ReplyDeleteWe had no success with Coldplay tickets, I don't think we got anywhere closer than about 68,000. We have retired our washing line already this autumn......the weather has been shocking
ReplyDeleteToday I am trying to do a quick cleaning of the whole house since my mother and step-father are going to be moving in with us for just a couple of days while my step-father finishes up his last week of work. I have found that over the last week or so I've taken to changing into my pajamas around 4 o'clock in the afternoon again. I forgot how much I enjoyed that this time of year!
ReplyDeleteThat's a long, long queue! It reminds me of when I was in school, and my parents went to Manchester to queue for tickets for the Osmonds. They didn't get anywhere close either, someone started a rumor the ticket booth was open, and it was chaos.
ReplyDeleteGetting cozy in your PJ's and a water bottle sound lovely. Your last flower is a beauty. What kind is it? #MMBC
ReplyDeleteI read that Coldplay are going to be performing in Hull. For a moment I wondered whether I would get my Dad to get tickets and I'd make a trip back for it, but then saw how horrendous the online queues were. He doesn't have the patience for that!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't wait to read what that queue was for! It's so hard to get tix for any of the really big artists anymore. And then the cost is so crazy too. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteThe cupboards look great, I took a peak over on instagram, you've done a great job with the vinyl wrap. I cba to queue for concert tickets, I'd rather sit in comfort a home and watch on the TV. I'm straight into my PJs the moment I get home and loving autumn a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the last flower seems sad. The shelves are looking fab, saw them on Instagram. I was curious about the queue, what a shame you didn't get tickets.
