Sunday already! This week flew over which was strange as we haven't really done anything out of the ordinary, in fact this has felt like the first real normal week that we've had since the end of July! I am finding a new routine for myself and it has been nice.
We haven't really done much over the weekend. Yesterday was the usual housework and catching up on blogging and have no plans for today. We're not even going out for lunch as we're trying to save a bit of money. With my families birthdays and redecorating the kitchen there's not much left in the pot for luxuries. It's not a complaint, we've had a good few weeks of fun and the kitchen looks amazing. (I have a blog post about it next week).
Now for a photo every day!
Roman Reigns a WWE wrestler. I hated this guy a few months ago when he was a bad guy, he had a break and has came back as a good guy and I am loving him again! I spent Sunday catching up on the weeks wrestling shows.
260/365 - 16th September
We have had some brilliant sunsets this week, the sky has been so pretty each evening!
261/365 - 17th September
I don't usually decorate for Autumn or Halloween but I was going to B&M and Stu joked saying and don't come home with anymore Gonk's. I had to, I don't like being told what to do and this one was ever so cute. hehehe
262/365 - 18th September
Another pretty sunset! Every year I always get surprised how early it starts to get dark as soon as the middle of September hits.
263/365 - 19th September
The Smyths Toys catalogue came through my letterbox this week. My girls used to fight over it, now they are much more civilised with it. I was going to say there was nothing much in it that they wanted but they have found quite a few things.
264/365 - 20th September
Home made blackberry jam! My dad always gets given a few jars by his friend and always has too much so I ended up with a blackberry one. It is so good! I must remember to keep the jar so he can give it back.
265/365 - 21st September
Our usual meal deal for lunch. I always get the same thing, a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich, chicken satay and sweet chili sauce and orange juice.
Love your sunset pics, I managed to get one the other night but it's been constant storms all this weekend. Thundering and lightening again here as I type.
ReplyDeleteI love your gonk, he's cute! There's so many nice decs' for autumn.
My two always want everything they see in the Smyths catalogue. I do miss taking them to Toys R Us though, after they closed the stores. Fingers crossed they are making a come back. xx
I'm trying to tighten our financial belt too as we've been spending lots of money on various things plus we have a trip to Hawaii coming up in December that will require more money (luckily most things have already been paid for-- plane, hotels, cars, etc.). Your new Gonks is pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteYour Gonk is cute and homemade blackberry jam, delicious!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog
ReplyDeleteThe sunset pics are gorgeous. I love homemade jam, so I can understand your excitement about it. I used to make jam, not anymore though.
ReplyDeleteThe Gonk is so sweet.
Homemade jam is the best! The sunsets are captured beautifully.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset photos. Enjoy your jam!
ReplyDeleteYour Gonk is so cute! I have Christmas ones but I've never seen autumn ones - it may be time for me to take a trip to the garden centre!

I do love a good monk. Let me know if you see/find a Paw Patrol advent calendar under £20. The sunset looks lovely. Been too wet here to capture any.
