What I like to do on my laptop!

Laptops have become more than just tools for work, they’re also portals to endless entertainment. Whether I'm winding down after a long day or just looking for a way to pass the time, my laptop is my go to device for fun. I spend a lot of time on my laptop, less than I used to but definitely on an evening you can find me sat in my armchair with it on my knee.

These are the things which I like to do on my laptop:

Blogging!

Of course! I do all of my blogging on my laptop. I have read that some people blog from their phones or a tablet but I could not imagine doing that. With blogging comes reading other people's blogs too which I do on a daily basis and I really enjoy.

Making playlists!

I love making a good playlist on Spotify. I have a playlist for every mood, season and occasion. I even have a couple full of songs that I've heard on TikTok which I keep adding too.

Shopping!

Shopping is so much easier now I can do it online. Sometimes I will just add things to my basket and never buy those things and other times I am on a mission to buy birthday or Christmas presents. My favourite website to browse is Shein, I know sometimes people frown upon Shein but I like it, it's cheap, the clothes always seem to fit me well and there's the make up which comes at a bargain price too.

Reading about the soaps!

I love reading about what's coming up in the likes of Eastenders, Corrie, Emmerdale, Neighbours and Hollyoaks. Yes, I could just watch and see what happens but I like to know what is coming!

Pinterest!

I have love scrolling through Pinterest getting ideas for various things like home decor, recipes and tattoos that I will probably never get.

Chatting!

I speak to more people online than I do in real life and I love the chats that I have with those people. Whether it be through email or Messenger. I do love hearing from them.

Gaming!

I used to be a big gamer playing World of Warcraft but now there's only a few games that I play. The Sims 4 of course, I can easily play it for hours, controlling the life of my Sims, building houses and designing new characters. Candy Crush, Cooking Fever and Hearthstone which is a spin off from World of Warcraft. The game is a turn based card game between two opponents, using constructed decks of 30 cards along with a selected hero with a unique power. Players use their limited mana crystals to play abilities or summon minions to attack the opponent, with the goal of destroying the opponent's hero.

Browsing houses for sale!

I love looking at houses for sale on websites like Zoopla or Right Move. Sometimes I will be realistic and look for houses locally that we could buy if we saved a little and sometimes I will look further afield at houses which cost millions. I can dream!

Streaming Movies and TV Shows!

When the rest of my family are watching the TV and it's not something I am interested in, one of my favourite ways to relax is by popping my headphones on and watching something off Disney+ or Netflix.

Reddit! 

I am new to reading threads on Reddit. You can go on there and read about a specific topic but I like to just go to the main page and scroll through until something grabs my attention and it really isn't long before I've lost an hour and fell down a rabbit hole of reading about Karen asking if she is the ass hole for cheating on her husband after he donated a kidney to her. Some of the threads on there are absolutely crazy and I love it!
