Pleased....

This week my word of the week has to be.....

For about a year I have wanted a header for my blog.....I have felt stupid asking someone to do it as I didn't really know what I wanted....

I never even thought about doing it myself as I thought too much was involved and I didn't want to mess with any settings and really mess my blog up.....

Early in the week I updated my Facebook and Twitter headers....It was playing on my mind that if can do them I can make a header for my blog too....So I did!! PicMonkey was my friend on Wednesday evening....I made the header and then I had to get it on my blog.....

I read how to do it and thought....Really?! Is that it!! It was go to the Layout, Edit on the header bit then add image.....I've been thinking for over a year it required HTML knowledge which I don't have.....Boy, I felt silly!

So the lesson is....If you can use PicMonkey you can make you're own header....

It may not be the best out there but I feel so proud of it and very, very, very pleased with myself.....

  1. Your header is great. I've been trying to something similar this week but think I made it too complicated for myself. I think I would have been pleased as well if I had managed it. It might be simple but if you are like me and not techy, all these things are an achievement. Emma

  11. I think it looks brilliant, well done! I had the same thing when I wanted to make some 'follow me' buttons and was terrified I'd screw it up and was so pleased with myself when it all came together. Here's to getting over our techy phobia! :-D
