The last day of primary school. #MySundayPhoto

Friday was the last day of primary school for my youngest....There were tears, smiles and of course shirts getting signed....This will be something to keep forever.....On the back it says the school name leavers 2018 which I thought was so special.....

  1. Hi Kim, what a nice thing to do. I don't remember having anything as a keepsake when I left/changed schools... Hope she enjoys making new friends at her next school. #MySundayPhoto

  3. She looks very happy! I hope it wasn't too emotional for you, but leaving primary is such a big step, not just for kids, but for parents too!

  9. They did the same at Ella's school. They also gave them an autograph book at the leaver's assembly. It's printed with the school name on the front and she got all her teachers and friends to sign it. I felt sorry for the teachers having to sign over 60 books each!!

  10. A big end of an era thing. Exciting for them, but sad for us mums. I really miss sports day and school plays and even the school gate chat!

  20. Here's to a new exciting chapter for her x
My son's school made up a t shirt for them with all the names of their classmates on it, so they wasn't allowed to get it signed. The children got to wear it on their last day, I put it in his bag to get changed into but he took it out and left it in breakfast club. He went all day without it, the only one not wearing one, thinking I had left it at home (but he had it all along!)
