It's funny how things change. #MySundaySnapshot

When I was Ellie's age I didn't really use a computer. I of course used them at school but looking back now they were so basic. Ellie is lucky to have her own computer and uses it daily, right in front of where I usually sit so I can keep an eye on her. I tweeted something the other day about how she was making a list for her birthday online and saving all the photos. Someone said it was the modern day version of circling the Argos catalogue. They're right. It's funny how things change.

  1. It is funny isn't it. I can remember loving getting catalogues from shops in the post and making my lists, for myself as a kid and for my older kids when they were little. Now if one turns up it goes straight into re-cycling, there's just no point anymore :(

  3. Life does indeed change. I'm older than you and I got my first computer as an adult. My childhood involved lots of paper and pens. #MMBC

  4. It is funny how things change. My daughter has a computer and a phone, she pays more attention to them than she does me lol. I used to love circling things in the Argos catalogue lol.

  5. I see what you mean. It is like circling items in the Argos catalogue. How times have changed. I built my first computer and had to work from floppy disks until I could save up for a hard disk. So different. Good to see them gaining the skills they need as tech changes. #MMBC

  7. I used to get so excited when my mum came back with the new Argos book. It used to be huge! I also loved making collages from it when that season ended and the next book came out. #mysundaysnap
