Cheating a bit to make cookies. #MySundaySnapshot

I have never been able to make cookies. They either burn or end up too hard to eat so last week we cheated and bought ready made cookie dough and made the best cookies, well Ellie did. She is taking all the credit for them. There was still a couple which burned a little but the rest were perfect!!

  1. mmm yummy looking cookies! We are the opposite, we can cook our cookies from scratch no problem and have lots of recipes. Me and Boo even went to London to have a biscuit baking lesson. However, I couldn't get any flour last week and my daughter was desperate to make cookies, so I bought a cookie mix and they ended up a big mess as they all blended together on the baking tray. They still tasted okay though, if a bit cakey. x

  2. I think I know what the problem is, because I used to do the same. When the cookies are done, they will still be totally soft and look very uncooked. Don't put them back in for a couple more minutes, take them out - they will firm up as they cool down :)

  3. They look so scrumptious! I can make a fairly decent cake but I am just terrible at making biscuits and cookies. I always leave them in too long as they don't look cooked! #MMBC

  4. They look good! I make cookies every other week for my soldier son to taken back and share with his friends. The key is taking them out of the oven when they are still soft.

  5. Lovely! I used to love making cookies with my Mom. Using pre-made dough sounds like an amazing way to save time and take it easy on yourself.
