Last weeks meal plan went pretty well. We ate everything but did swap a couple of days around which doesn't really matter.
I really need to empty our freezer and defrost it. The ice is taking over so this week will be another week of eating what we can out of it then hopefully moving what is left into the little freezer under the fridge. We have loads of burgers, chicken and sausages so I think we need to have a BBQ and father's day will be perfect for it as long as the weather is nice.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - A beef stir fry and rice.
Tuesday - Pies, roast potatoes and veg.
Wednesday - Chicken nuggets in wraps with salad.
Thursday - Corned beef hash.
Friday - Fish, chips and mushy peas.
Saturday - Chicken curry, rice and prawn crackers.
Sunday - A BBQ.

ReplyDeleteChicken nuggets are great in a wrap we often have them like that for a quick lunch. Have not had corned beef has in ages. Sounds a lovely week and fingers crossed for BBQ weather xx
ReplyDeleteOur freezer is awful and badly needs a defrost and a clean, I must do it. My nana used to make corn beef hash? Is there a recipe you use, might try it on my crew?

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to slowly eat our way through our freezer too; we packed so much in there at the start of the lock down and I feel like I keep forgetting what's in there!
ReplyDeleteI actually wrote a meal plan for this week but yesterday's fish had to be changed when I realised that the fresh pasta needed eating - let's see how I can manage it for the rest of the week! I hope that sun shines and you have a great BBQ :o)
