A few months ago my kitchen windowsill was full of pots of plants. I grew various things inside before planting them outside and since then it has looked rather bare.
On Friday Becky and her girlfriend came in with a new plant for me to put on the kitchen windowsill, how kind. Chrysanthemums! They picked it because it had mum in the name and purple my favourite flower. How thoughtful.
What a sweet and thoughtful gift, and they look lovely. My favourite colour is purple too. I miss not having windowsills, seriously, the only room downstairs with a windowsill is the bathroom. The kitchen window is full length and the living room only has patio doors. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely mums!
ReplyDeleteA pretty plant and it's perfect for mid August into September.
ReplyDeleteA lot more colourful than the spider plant on our windowsill! How thoughtful of your daughter and girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. They are one of my favourite flowers.

Enjoy those chrysanthemums. They look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty flower to have on the window still. X #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful plant and what a lovely thing for them to do!
ReplyDeleteI have two unhealthy looking poinsettias in the kitchen window - one from Christmas 2019 and the other from 2016 or 2017. My husband gets cross about them as they're pretty ugly, but I'm proud that I've kept them alive for so long!
Yay that looks so pretty and full of colour
