A photo every day for a year! 7th - 13th January. Week 2 of #Project365

I have had a nice slow week just pottering around the house getting some little jobs done. Cleaning out cupboards, decluttering and getting some blog posts scheduled. It feels like we're back into a good routine after the Christmas holidays and I've even stuck to my new rule of going to bed a little earlier.

I don't have much planned for the weekend, I might take myself off to the cinema depending on the weather. I know it's great being in the cinema if it's raining but it's the getting there. I don't fancy getting soaked walking to the bus stop and waiting for the bus. I am sick of the rain, most of the time it's not even proper rain. The other day I put something in the wheelie bin and thought if it wasn't raining I could have washing on the line as it seemed quite warm and breezy.

Now for a photo every day!

Pizza and spice rack
Buffy on the TV and a rainy day
Essential oils
A tidied cupboard and Prince Harry's book

7/365 - 7th January
I made pizza. Tomato puree, onions, mushrooms, salami, ham, pineapple and cheese. Three days later I realised I forgot the sweetcorn, I knew there was something missing.

8/365 - 8th January
Stu put the spice rack up that I got for Christmas off Becky. There was just enough room to put my most used spices in.

9/365 - 9th January
The Gentlemen off Buffy the Vampire slayer still freak me out a little, even as an adult. It is one of my favourite episodes though.

10/365 - 10th January
I thought I had slept in on Tuesday as it was still so dark when I got up. It didn't get much lighter as the day went on and it absolutely chucked it down all day.

11/365 - 11th January
I got some oils for my oil burner that I got at Christmas. Dessert scented one's and they smell so good. I think my favourite so far is the cherry one.

12/365 - 12th January
I sorted out a couple of the cupboards in the kitchen. They look way better than they did and it is easier to find things.

13/365 - 13th January
Just the other day I said I couldn't care less about Prince Harry and his dramas but I was sucked into the hype and bought his book.

  1. I'll be curious to hear what you think of the book.. so far I've resisted watching the Netflix show or picking up his book. Those dessert oil scents sound wonderful! It's been so wet, and dark, and dreary here that I definitely feel some blues coming on but I'm surrounding myself with all my favorite things and throwing myself into some creative pursuits this month and trying to block out the icky weather.

  2. I had washing out on the line last week, only for an hour, but it took a lot of the wet out. Sorry won't be buying that book or watching Netflix, let me know what you think of it though. I'm in bed by 10pm every night, I'd go at 8pm if I could but hubby tends to wake me when he comes up

  3. The pizza looks good. I used to love Buffy...might have to watch it again. I watch the Netflix programme but refusing to read the book. After hearing some bits and bobs about it I think he has gone too far. Interesting to hear what you think about it though

  4. It’s nice to have a slow week pottering around and getting jobs done. That pizza looks yummy. So good to have a sort out in the cupboards. I’ve managed to avoid the hype over Prince Harry’s book so far! #project365

  5. Nope can't be doing with Harry and his nonsense!. PIzza looks good, hate it when I forget to use an ingredient I'd planned. No rain for us, just lots of cold. #project365

  6. I am curious by the book, but refuse to buy it. I will wait for it to be donated at work..........he seems to be flooding social media anyway I probably won't need to read it LOL

  7. I was wondering if I should read the book. I don;t care what she does but him I might be interested in. I might wait until the hype dies down. I have never seen Buffy. I think its on Disney+, perhaps it can be my next watch #365
