Our weekly meal plan! 16th - 22nd January. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went really well. We ate just about everything on the day I had planned which was a real bonus. The only thing we didn't eat was the fish, chips and mushy peas as Stu and I went out for brunch and couldn't think about eating another big meal after an all day breakfast. We had sandwiches and Christmas pudding which we never got around to eating over Christmas.

Last week I got a couple of the kitchen cupboards sorted out and cleaned. They desperately needed doing and everything feels a lot more organised now. I still have a few more to sort out which I am going to do this week but the worst one's are done.

I am feeling super stressed as I am at the doctors today, it's nothing to worry about. I am just getting my contraceptive implant changed but last time I had it changed the doctor had to call another doctor in to get the old implant out. I am not good when it comes to medical things so I am feeling very anxious. I know by the end of today I will laugh at how much I worried about nothing but up until it's done I will be here stressing.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - Meat free mince sloppy joes with potato salad. It's a Gousto meal but one of our favourites which we've had several times.
Tuesday - Vegetable fried rice with spring rolls and prawn crackers.
Wednesday - Tuna and sweetcorn pasta bake.
Friday - Pizza. We might make home made one's.
Saturday - Burgers in buns with fries.
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.

What are you eating this week?

  1. Hope it all went well at the doctors. How's Spare the book going? Have you finished it yet?

  2. Oh I hope everything goes well at the doctor's... my first (and only!) implant perforated my uterus and went missing. I had to have 2 surgeries to recover it.. I know that is not at all the norm and for most people it's just a nice quick procedure so I'm hoping for a very uneventful trip for you!
