I have been planning. #WotW

This week my Word of the Week is:

This week has all been about planning.

The kids finish school today for half term and I have been planning what to do with them over the holidays. We have Halloween cake and biscuit mixes to make, some crafts to do. I bought some fab kits from Hobbycraft and I wished I'd bought one of everything I got the girls for myself....

I promised Ellie that I would take her to soft play. Ugh! What was I thinking. I hate soft play and we're also going to finally make slime!! I love the half term holidays as they are just the right amount of time to have some fun without getting bored....

On Tuesday we had Ellie's parents evening and I had a lovely chat with her teacher....I've seen her teacher lots since the beginning of term because of Ellie's suspected Autism so I am well aware of how she is doing but nice to be reassured that the teacher has our back and is looking out for Ellie. As we haven't heard anything back from the people we were referred to, the plan is to give them until the first day back at school and then ring them....Then keep ringing until I get somewhere.

Stu and I had a good chat about Christmas and we have decided what the girls are getting for Christmas as their main presents. Ellie smashing the screen on her tablet this week helped us come to the decision. lol We were just going to get the screen fixed but a new screen on Ebay is £14.99. We can get the next model up from her tablet for £49.99 so I think we're just going for the upgrade. So if Ellie's getting a new tablet we want to buy Becky something electronic and have decided to get her a new phone. We're hoping to get something in the Black Friday sales.

I have been taking part in #Blogtober17 and as I have all the prompts I have been able to write the blog posts up until the end of this month! Hooray which means I have been able to  get ahead in planning and writing blog posts for November and I even have one scheduled for December. lol I am feeling very organised.

  3. You are being very organised! Sounds like we've had similar weeks with our prep and planning. It's good to know what you're getting for Christmas, makes it easier, and I'm like you waiting on the Black Friday sales. Let's hope they're good! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
