A fantastic gift for Christmas! King Cobra!

My fella likes the odd can of lager or beer but at Christmas it is always nice to have something a little bit different and a bit fancier and this is where King Cobra comes in.

King Cobra by Cobra Beer is new to us. Unique among lagers, it is brewed using ale yeast and is double fermented in the bottle, giving it a super-premium, full-bodied taste and pleasant, hazy appearance. This unorthodox approach gives King Cobra its warming, powerful depths.

King Cobra is served in a champagne bottle which I thinks makes it a little bit more special than a normal sized bottle. It would not look out of place on the Christmas dining table along with the bottles of wine.

Ideal to share over a great meal at 7.5% ABV and bottle conditioned for a particularly smooth and sophisticated taste.

This was all for my fella to try and enjoy. He thought the bottle was a brilliant idea and loved how fancy it looked. My fella tried it last night and thought it tasted great. He is a lover of the Cobra beer anyway so knew what to expect. He said he would like a couple more bottles for Christmas so that's a good sign.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, it’s available both online and offline across the UK and retails for around £5.

We were sent this free of charge to try in exchange for this blog post.
