Week 50 of #Project366 - A photo every day for a year!

We have had quite a week with lots of ups and downs but writing this yesterday I feel pretty happy and positive. I think it's because I have a good chunk of the Christmas food shopping done. All the presents are bought and of course I still have wrapping to do but there's plenty of time for that.

Now for a photo every day!

Pizza and chips & my living room in the dark.
Organising Christmas presents & a chip butty
My Iceland order confirmation & chicken and veg in the slow cooker.
Christmas snacks and drinks

333/366 - 5th December
We got a takeaway. Pizza platters all round. Half a pizza, chips, onion rings and coleslaw for £8. We got an extra portion of Doner meat to share.

334/366 - 6th December
I sat in the living room waiting for someone to pass through and switch the light on. Sundays really are my lazy day.

335/366 - 7th December
Another day of sorting out Christmas presents.

336/366 - 8th December
Becky had said she was making herself a chip butty for herself. It didn't take long for me to want one. She is a bad influence.

337/366 - 9th December
I made an order with Iceland for all the frozen Christmas food. Just about everything was delivered. The only subs were bread. I had obviously placed an order before the shop had their bread delivery.

338/366 - 10th December
I added veg and chicken in the slow cooker with a random casserole mix out of the cupboard. Stu called to the shop and got a loaf of crusty bread to dip in. It was delicious.

339/366 - 11th December
I had another shopping delivery this time with the drinks, tinned stuff, snacky food, cakes and biscuits.

  2. The Christmas food looks yummy. I might have to make an order from Iceland instead of popping in. #MMBC

  3. Well done on being organised with all the Christmas food order. I'm just working out mine, but mostly it's just perishables now. I never get to order instore bakery items from Tesco, as I usually have am morning slot, and they can only be delivered after 1pm.

  8. Ooh that looks like a nice takeaway. Love chip butties. Christmas food shops are the best with all the cakes and snacky food. #project366

  10. Hmmm I love pizza, chips, onions rings and kebab meat ... but I never would have thought of putting it all on the same plate ! Well, why not? I'm intrigued now though ! And chip butties ! I haven't eaten one for years, hmmm ! Your Christmas organisation is very impressive - I was still running around like a headless chicken at this point ! lol

  11. Chip butties are the greatest! I am loving that takeaway platter though, that's not a bad deal! Wish our local takeaway would do that! You were so lucky to get an online delivery! I didn't find the supermarkets too bad this year fortunately... all over far too quickly this year :( Hope you had a fabulous Christmas! Sim x
