I have seen many people on social media list something every day that they are grateful for and thought I would join in and have on my private Facebook account every day and I thought I would share here too.
I did this for the whole of last year and it has really made me realise that even on the bad day's I have something to be grateful for.

Today I am grateful for advent calendars! I loved my chocolate one's and the kids loved theirs too. Becky was very impressed with her rubber duck one.

Today I am grateful for a nice hot bath. It warmed me up and I am still warm now, so much so I had to take my jumper off.

Today I am grateful for a lovely Sunday! Had lunch out, a full on Christmas dinner, it snowed and Becky came home from a fab night out!

Today I am grateful for Crocs! I pinched Ellie's when I had to go outside and kept them on. They're warmer than slippers. lol I totally get why my dad wears them all the time and never has cold feet.

Today I am grateful that Becky has her own money to spend in town. She is going crazy buying people Christmas presents.

Today I am grateful for my dad taking me shopping today! The freezer is full with all the Christmas meat and party food.

Today I am grateful that Ellie made it home from college, eventually! Her bus didn't turn up so she went into college to complain. They got her and a couple of others a taxi to the bus station so she could get a direct bus home.

Today I am grateful that the bathroom cupboards are all organised now thanks to finding out the small boxes inside the Gousto boxes fit perfectly, they're quite strong too.

What a great accomplishment to have something to be grateful for all 365 days of the year! My son seemed to go a bit overboard buying gifts for all his friends too and I was also thankful he had his own paycheck to do that with.
ReplyDeleteI think I might do this. I didn't get a diary for Christmas but i won one on New Years Day so just waiting for it to arrive. I've also decided to review things we do as that will (hopefully) give me more incentive to keep doing them. I have enjoyed reading your entries, thank you, all the best for 2024
