Week 2 of #Project365 7th - 13th January! A photo every day for a year!

I have really enjoyed this week with getting back into a routine, Ellie is back at college, I am back on top of the housework and we bought an air fryer. I am not liking this cold weather and from what I've read it's set to get colder over the next few days. Eek! I lose all motivation when it's cold outside so I think I am really going to have to push myself over the next week.

It was all good until yesterday when I hit some blogging problems. Over the past few days I have been struggling to comment on blogger blogs but yesterday I really struggled. I have been getting a notice saying "failed to publish comment. please try again later" when I try to comment. I try again and sometimes the comment will go through, sometimes it won't at all. I have asked the experts on FB groups and the official blogger forum but it is being put down to my privacy settings and something to do with cookies. I have been through all my settings and can't see anything wrong, I've tried Chrome, Edge and Firefox browsers. The only thing I can think of is that I had a Windows update earlier on in the week and it hasn't been right since then. I am hoping with the next update it fixes it it's self but up until then you will have to bear with me. I will try to comment as much as I can.

Now for a photo every day!

Blue skies

7/365 - 7th January
On Sunday I watched a lot of Grey's Anatomy including the musical episode. I did get up to the episode before the musical episode on the Saturday night and had to force myself to go to bed after the car had crashed. I've seen it before so I know what happens.

8/365 - 8th January
Back to college for Ellie. She wore her new favourite top and I didn't have much hope for her to keep it clean, she's like me. If she wears anything that is remotely white she attracts dirt and stains. She did well and only had a bit of make up on the sleeve.

9/365 - 9th January
We have enjoyed some Gousto meals this week. This one was the sticky Chinese style pork steak with sesame rice. Sometimes my meals look nothing like what is on the Gousto card but this time it looked pretty good.

10/365 - 10th January
Ellie said it was ridiculous how much Harry Potter I had on. The slippers, socks and pj's. I don't care, I was warm and cosy.

11/365 - 11th January
We finally got ourselves an air fryer! I have been looking for a big air fryer for a little while but they all seemed to be so expensive but I spotted this one in Argos for £90 and it seemed to tick all of the boxes. So far so good. We even scrapped the meal plan so we could have something cooked in it.

12/365 - 12th January
I added a bit of colour to my wardrobe with a dinosaur top. I got it from Shein. I love it although the girls say I am so childish. I think it's a bit of fun!

13/365 - 13th January
I got up to blue skies and sunshine! It was still absolutely freezing but it was nice to see some sunshiny weather.

Happy new air fryer! I bloody love mine, I'm always using it. Looking forward to seeing what you cook in yours.

  3. Your gousto meal looked really good. I'm loving the 'colour'. That's my kind of colour for winter months - I've got a colleague who loves dinosaurs, and now she's got a son, she's got a great excuse!

  6. I disagree with your daughters, the dinosaur jumper is cute and not childish. The airfryer sounds very good.

  10. I love the top, ignore the girls and their comments about too much Harry Potter. Did the white top stay white? I can't be doing with an air fryer, it took me 10 years to get on board with the slow cooker craze lol

  11. We only recently got an air fryer too and I don’t think I’m using it to its full potential. And don’t listen to anyone negative, I love the Dino jumper!

  13. Hope you manage to get the comments thing sorted out. It’s frustrating when you get blog issues. The Harry Potter slippers and socks look very cosy and I love the dinosaur jumper. It is nice to see blue skies even if it was cold. #project365
