Last weeks meal plan was a bit hit and miss. We ate some of the meals I had planned and scrapped a few and changed a couple around. Nothing went to waste and that's all that matters.
I decided on Saturday instead of the Chinese fakeaway which we moved to yesterday we needed something hearty and filling and I made a small roast dinner. It was lovely. We never had a roast on a Saturday and it felt like such a treat.
On Saturday I got a food shop from Iceland and three quarters filled the freezer that we bought a few weeks ago. I am hoping that I won't have to do anymore big food shops until Christmas. I will of course have to buy fresh stuff but I can get bread, milk and fruit from the little Tesco shop.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Mince and dumplings with mashed potato.
Tuesday - BBQ Chicken chargrills and rice
Wednesday - Tomato & mozzarella Crispy pancakes & Hash brown fries.
Thursday - Salmon, broccoli & pea risotto.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Hot dogs in buns with fries.
Sunday - Giant Yorkshire puddings filled with chicken breast slices, mash & veg.
What are you eating this week?
YUMMY yummy yummy - enjoy
ReplyDeleteYou sound very organised with your Christmas food shopping. I need to be better prepared, it gets expensive leaving it all to the last minute!
