A rare photo of my dad. Happy Father's Day!

If my dad see's me taking photos he runs. Getting a photo of my dad is a rare thing but I got one a couple of weeks ago.

He needed a photo of himself for something and couldn't figure out how to take one himself with his phone and get it onto his computer so I took it and emailed it to him and sneakily kept the photo. hehehe

It's crazy to think this time last year I was only seeing my dad a couple of times a year then we moved house and I could see him every day until Coronavirus put a stop to that. Hmmf. I'm back to seeing him a few times a week now and I feel so lucky. He's 70 odd years old now and I feel like this time is precious.

Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there!

  2. Lovely photo. I think you're right, Father's Day this year seems a bit more poignant because we've all been separated from family and others for so long. Looking good for 70! #MySundayPhoto

  3. Oh I do wish people would understand how important photos are, it doesn't matter how you look, the people who love you will always love you and have those precious memories. I wish I hadn't spent so many years being camera shy. Anyway..that's a brilliant photo of your Dad and I hope he has a lovely Day xx

  7. What a lovely photo. I can definitely see a family resemblance! It must be so nice to see him so regularly after all those years of only seeing him a couple of times a year.

  9. I'm so happy you now seee your Dad regularly. It must have been hard to only see him a few times a year. I see my parents only once or twice a year, but it does feel odd now that my Dad is in his early 70s.
