I have seen many people on social media list something every day that they are grateful for and thought I would join in and have on my private Facebook account every day and I thought I would share here too. I am hoping to continue it for the rest of the year and longer.

Today I am grateful for Netflix. We've watched the latest episodes of Stranger Things and they were so good. I want to watch season 5 NOW!!!

Today I am grateful for a fantastic day out at the show with Ellie, her friend and her friends mum. We have it all to do again tomorrow for Day 2 of the show.

Today I am grateful for a soak in the bath to ease my achy legs. I've walked miles and miles over the weekend. We have had the best time at the show, just a shame that Becky wasn't with us, she had to work. Next year she will book her holidays in early!!

Today I am grateful for Stu spending his day off helping me with the housework, I did none over the weekend as we were out at the show. He also found time to faff around with his computer and finished watching the latest episodes of Stranger Things.

Today I am grateful for Spaghetti Bolognese for tea. It is probably one of my families favourite meals. So simple but so good.

Today I am grateful for the fantastic DPD delivery driver who always brings my parcels, he's been here every day so far this week, he must be sick of the sight of me. lol He'll be back tomorrow too. hahaha

Today I am grateful that I had a little help with the jobs around the house from the kids! Makes a nice change. Usually on a Saturday Becky is sleeping from a night shift but her work shifts have changed and Ellie would have been playing out but she's grounded. (again). The little madam gave her phone to someone to look after and he had to be in before her so dropped it off her which was kind of him but then it meant I couldn't get in touch with her and she had no idea of the time which meant she was late in. I should think myself lucky, when I was a kid there was no such thing as mobile phones. My parents must have been beside themselves.

Today I am grateful for a super relaxed Sunday. It has been a lovely day but a little too hot outside for my liking.

Today I am grateful that Stu got the new sink and unit put in the bathroom. He made it himself and I think he did a fantastic job. My job tomorrow is to give the bathroom a good clean, it's covered in dust and sawdust.

Today I am grateful for the food shop being delivered. We had to get it a couple of days early as my Gousto box wasn't delivered on Sunday because the driver apparently couldn't get here.

Today I am grateful that I could get a delivery slot with Asda for tomorrow because Tesco did a piss poor job of sending my food shop today. 29 unavailable items. All my fridge and freezer stuff. Their fridges and freezers broke during the heatwave and they are struggling to get stock delivered. They really should have said the items were unavailable when I was doing the order. Very sneaky!

Today I am grateful for our new Sky box, we updated to Sky Q! There's a couple of things that I am not keen on but I am liking it. Got Netflix, Disney+ & Spotify on it so Becky can have her Xbox back. hehehe

Today I am grateful for getting some little jobs done around the house. The cupboard under the kitchen sink is now organised again. I am sure my family think nothing about putting empty bottles back in.

Today I am grateful for a day with my family! It seems ages since Becky and Stu weren't working at the same time. It was nice to spend some time together and see my dad and Sarah too.

What were you grateful for in July?
I was thankful for air conditioning! LOL. It was hot here too and while I did spend a bit of time outside each day for fresh air I definitely relied on our air conditioning to keep me cool. I was also so grateful to see my sister and nephews when we went on vacation. We had such a fabulous time together and I'm already trying to think of another place I can rent a large house for us all to enjoy again before all these big kids get too big to want to come with us.
