Our weekly meal plan! 14th - 20th November. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went well. We ate just about everything and I managed to make some more space in the freezer. I now have a couple of drawers filling up with Christmas stuff. Normal pigs in blankets and some maple flavoured one's. I also got some fancy pork, cranberry and stuffing stars. At Christmas I go crazy for different flavoured stuffing and we usually have at least 5 different flavours, it is one of my favourite things on a Christmas dinner.

I was going to say we don't have much on this week but the week is starting to fill up. Ellie has a hospital appointment, finally the one about her getting her hearing aid. It turns out someone didn't refer her back to the right department and she was stuck in limbo. A process which should have been completed in about 6 weeks has taken 8 months so far. I am going to meet up with my friend for lunch and a bit of shopping. On Saturday we are going to the local Christmas light switch on and an early meal out for a meal for my birthday because the pubs which serve food locally are usually closed on my birthday but I have just had a thought, that they might open with it being England's first World Cup match on the 21st. I am really looking forward to the World Cup, I don't think we will do as well as the Euros but I will still be watching.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - Creamy pork and apple casserole with mashed potato.
Tuesday - Veggie fried rice with spring rolls.
Wednesday - Pulled chicken in wraps with potato wedges.
Thursday - Macaroni cheese, we've not had it in ages!
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - A meal out.
Sunday - Some sort of roast dinner.

What are you eating this week?

  1. Good luck with Ellie's appointment. It's about time she was sorted. Enjoy your birthday meal, it's my turn next Saturday, along with our local lights switch on! xx

  2. Lovely menu, Kim! I read on Insta about the hearing appointmnet, that is appalling. Eight months, it's totally irresponsible on their behalf. Talking of Christmas, I haven't bought anything yet, except from some Fazer fruit jellies, as they usually sell them just around this time in Lakeland and they disappear fast. I do love fancy stuffing too.

  3. I’ve been sick and totally off my food all week. I’m starting to get my appetite back and your meals sound delicious and are making me hungry. I hope you have a lovely meal on your birthday. Xxx

  4. Love the sound of the pork and apple casserole with mash - just the sort of thing that would go down well here. I'm off to investigate !
