A photo every day for a year! 4th - 10th March. Week 10 of #Project365

What a week of weather we've had. It started with glorious sunshine and ended with snow. Ellie has had a long weekend with a snow day yesterday because of the school being closed, not because of the amount of snow but because the teachers couldn't get in. I didn't realise that some of them come from Leeds and Sheffield which is quite a distance from us.

As I am typing this the sun is starting to come out and melt the snow, I think that's it for us. It was fun while it lasted and I am glad it hasn't caused too much disruption for us, well apart from the school being closed and a couple of power cuts.

Now for a photo every day!

Sunshine and washing on the line
Bacon and anime ornaments
Chicken and bacon crown and Chocolate love heart
A shower and my youngest on her computer

63/365 - 4th March
We had some lovely sunshine, perfect for getting the washing out on the line.

64/365 - 5th March
Bacon sandwiches for breakfast. It's our usual breakfast on a Sunday.

65/365 - 6th March
Ellie was sorting her shelves out and I forgot she had these creepy anime characters. She's now got her bedroom back to normal with everything in it's place after it was decorated.

66/365 - 7th March
We tried out the new Aunt Bessie roasts from Iceland. I did not expect the big bone in the middle, I thought for a second it was still frozen in the middle when I came to carve it. It was nice but I don't think I'll buy it again, the bone really put me off.

67/365 - 8th March
I was sent a couple of things from Swizzels to feature on my blog. The kids were very happy!

68/365 - 9th March
We had a shower delivered from the landlord. It's a lot fancier than I expected. It was supposed to have been fitted yesterday but the snow seems to have stopped everything. I guess it's a job for next week. We've lived without a shower for nearly 4 years a few days won't make a difference.

69/365 - 10th March
I had Ellie home from school. We stayed inside in the warm and she actually did some revision for her GCSE's. I think going for her interview at college has really given her some motivation to revise even more and get the grades that she needs.

  1. How strange the roast had the bone in. I wouldn't expect that either. I don't know how you've coped with no shower for so long. We don't do baths in our house and were going to totally remove the bath and just get a larger shower, luckily we didn't because then had N, and bathing a baby in the shower wouldn't have been easy

  2. Our snow day was more to do with the location of the students and lack of child care for the staff. We often have lamb on the bone so I'm used to cooking with it like that, must've been a shock. I'm not a fan of having a shower, I don't like getting my hair wet as it takes too long to dry and style every day

  3. Lovely to get some washing on the line. It was certainly a mixed week weather-wise wasn’t it! We had a bit of snow but it didn’t last very long. Hope your new shower got fitted ok. #project365

  5. I thought the roast would be great for my family until I saw your comment about the bone, very off-putting! We really need to get our shower sorted, been broken for years! #project365
