The changes in the sky. #MySundaySnapshot

When we lived in our old house I rarely saw the changes in the sky! I was surrounded by other houses and only had a small back yard. Now out the back of us is open fields and we see some amazing changes in the sky.

When it's stormy the lightening is amazing, when it's cloudy and the sun blazes through it's so pretty and even when it's dark all the stars are fascinating.

Yesterday when we got home from shopping the sky was looking very dramatic. The pretty blue sky surrounded by the dark clouds coming in. I snapped and hoped for a half decent photo because I couldn't see what I was taking a photo of, the sun was shining right into my eyes. lol

  1. How lovely to see the sky like that. I know I've done that before - pointed the camera and hoped for the best!

  2. I think I point my camera and hope for the best 90% of the time, not only because of the sun but because my eyesight has become so bad...we'll see if my photography gets any betters when I get my glasses. I love the sky, it always has so much to offer, from rainbows to fluffy clouds and dark clouds and of course...the sun :) xx

  6. Beautiful photo - I often find myself gazing at the sky as it changes throughout the day. Interesting the details we pick up on when moving house etc.

  8. Love the blue in the sky. I bet you appreciate the view you get in your new house. Similar for us as it happens. Used to live surrounded by trees and just couldn't see what was happening up in the air!

  9. I have plenty of houses around me but we do have a forest over the road. I love taking pictures of the sun shining through the trees when we're out on dog walks. #MMBC
