Last weeks meal plan went well. Everything was eaten. The diet coke chicken went down well. I cooked it in the slow cooker and loosely followed the recipe. The kids loved it and there was leftovers for lunch yesterday. For the last few weeks I haven't really been in the mood to be in the kitchen. First it was too hot and last week it was grey and wet but over the last few days I am itching to get back in there and I'm starting with doing some baking this week.
We were back to using Tesco for our food shopping deliveries. Over the past few weeks we've tried Morrisons and Sainsbury's and I have to say I prefer Tesco. You seem to get more for your money and they sell more of our usual's which we prefer.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Pizza lattice fries. Potato lattices covered with tomato pizza sauce, salami, pepperoni & cheese.
Tuesday - Sandwiches, crisps and whatever I've baked.
Wednesday - Chicken fajita's.
Thursday - Veggie fried rice with spring rolls and prawn crackers.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Meatball sub melts.
Sunday - Cottage pie and baked beans.

ReplyDeleteThat all sounds delicious, particularly the pizza lattice fries and the veggie fried rice with prawn crackers and spring rolls. Hmmm ! We've been eating out all the time for the past ten days in Belgium and the kids have said they're looking forward to some home cooking now ! lol
