Some random thoughts that I've had lately. Part four!

I like to write my random thoughts down, those thoughts that don't fit into a blog post but I want to mention them and share them with you. You can read my previous mind dump here.

These are some of the things that I have been thinking about.

Question Marks

Death week on the soaps, Emmerdale and Corrie was brilliant but since then little Sam deserves all of the awards. He is such a cracking little actor.

It's my birthday month!!

I missed having Ellie's friends over to visit during the lockdowns but a couple visited a little while ago and my head was aching by the time they left but it was such a giggle. They've grown so much and I did find out off them that Ellie has a boyfriend. hehehe

Halloween on Fortnite was a lot of fun, especially the pumpkin launchers. I did not like the zombies which randomly appeared though, I screamed every time that they popped up.

I am so happy that I have got a Christmas delivery slot from Asda.

I started buying Christmas snacks and treats a few weeks ago to save buying it on the big xmas food shop. It's going to cut the big bill but my family don't believe me. They think I will still spend the same amount, I am determined to prove them wrong!

Going to the cafe at our local auction is becoming too much of a regular thing especially when I go on a Thursday or Friday for the viewing day and the Saturday to buy. The woman in the cafe now knows my order. hehehe Sausage and a runny egg bun with red sauce and a cup of tea and I need a knife and fork because I'm a messy eater!

The McVitie's digestives Christmas pudding biscuits smell like Christmas pudding but don't really taste it, they are nice though.

I love that Ellie is finally gaining the confidence to wear what she wants and not follow the crowd. I love her sense of style. I wish I could get away with wearing all of the hats that she does!

My youngest in a frog hat

Why are my girls growing up so quickly?!

I got sick of Becky leaving her dirty socks wherever she took them off so I have started putting them in random places like her coat pockets, her work bag and packed lunch box. I think I've got my point across, she's started to put them in the dirty washing basket.

I hate the weather where I think that I need to wear a coat only to realise once I have been walking for about 15 minutes realise that I am sweating and didn't really need the coat!

It's coming to that time of year where delivery drivers are in such a rush! They knock and by the time I get to the door about 30 seconds later they're getting back into their van! Grr!

Becky has had a telling off about spending too much money on Christmas presents. Just because she has her wages doesn't mean she has to spend it all.

Fluffy, fleecy socks are the best, even more so if they have the plastic gripper things on the bottom so I don't have to wear slippers!

The TV show Breaking Bad is fantastic. I've watched it a couple of times before but I put it on one evening when I wanted something on the TV but nothing I had to concentrate on. I'm halfway through it again and then I have plans to watch Better Call Saul.

Grass grows so fast, even at this time of year! We put some grass seed down on the new soil in our front garden and it's growing well!

What random thoughts have you had lately?

  1. I laughed at your solution to Becky's dirty socks, I'll bear that trick in mind in case I ever need it ;)

  2. I hear you on the coat thing; I brought one on our hike yesterday and ended up carrying it the whole way!

  3. Love the idea with the dirty socks, I think I need to do similar with items that always end up in the wrong places! We loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, I definitely want to watch Breaking Bad over again when Better Call Saul comes to an end, I'm not sure how much longer it has to run!

  4. Loving the hat and the fact your youngest is going with her own style. I agree love a pair of fluffy socks especially when getting cold being out in the rain x #mmbc
