I love Ellie being home from school but these school holidays seem really long and we seem to have been so busy. I will be glad when she's back at school so I can have a rest and take things at my own pace. hehehe This past week we've been gardening, sorting the garage out, doing things around the house, been to Hull shopping, been to see my dad a couple of times and I've just about managed to keep on top of the housework.
Now for a photo every day!
Ellie and I dug up the planters in the front garden and weeded them before we went to the farm shop and bought some bedding plants. Seeing this photo has reminded me that Stu never got around to giving the planters a lick of paint.

Easter and of course we all had Easter eggs. Mine was a Galaxy Ripple one. Galaxy is probably my favourite chocolate.
100/365 - 10th April
I took a photo of a random plant in my garden to identify it on an app. I wanted to see if it was a plant/flower and not a weed. I can't remember what it was called. lol
101/365 - 11th April
Ellie and I went to Hull, mostly to get a birthday present for someone but also to get a McDonalds. hehehe
102/365 - 12th April
While I was in Hull Primark I bought this Mrs Potts teapot, it is a real usable teapot but I will be keeping it as an ornament.
103/365 - 13th April
My sweetcorn is growing which I am so chuffed about.

It looked a gorgeous day yesterday with sunshine and blue skies so I got the washer going, got a load on the line and then another load on the washer. Soon enough the grey clouds and rain came so I was stuck with 2 loads of washing on the airers. Grrr!
Ooh I do love a cheeky Mcdonalds. I wish I'd bought myself an Easter egg. We were quite short of them in this house. I always take photos of plants for identification apps too. I'm terrible at knowing what things are.
ReplyDeleteOMG I did Project 365 back when I was in grad school--so like over 10 years ago at this point. Wow, I guess it was the original way to find "sparkle" in every day--though I didn't think of it in those terms at the time. I was just sad without my bffl (the one who's coming to visit--I went straight from undergrad to grad school, so we were a few months removed from being together all.the.time.) and started taking pictures to cheer myself up! Love your Mrs. Potts! I'm always blown away by the amount of Disney stuff at Primark!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to see the blue sky
ReplyDeleteYour new plants look pretty in the planters. I love Galaxy chocolate too. Those apps that help identify plants are so useful, aren’t they? Love your Mrs Potts teapot. How annoying that the weather changed when you had an extra load of washing on. #project365
ReplyDeleteLove the Mrs Potts tea pot. The planters look good too, I really need to do some tinkering in our garden
ReplyDeleteLove the teapot! I don't think I would use it either. Our celery seeds aren't doing much, sadly for the guine pigs... #project365
ReplyDeleteThe planters will look lovely once the plants have flowered. I love Galaxy chocolate too! The Mrs Potts teapot is so cool!
