I have felt so lost with what day it is again this week with Ellie having a teachers training day on Monday and going back to school on Tuesday. It has felt easy to get back into a routine after the Easter break, I think the sun shining has helped although yesterday was grey and damp. Hmmf.
We have had a good week even with a few shocks along the way. I am glad it's the weekend, we don't have anything planned apart from a night in front of the TV tonight. It's Becky's weekend off so we always make the most of it and have some family time.
Now for a photo every day!
105/365 - 15th April
Some hyacinths have popped up in the garden. I didn't plant them, they're at the other side of the garden where I don't plant things as it gets less sun.
106/365 - 16th April
Years ago I reviewed a little Christmas tree and when Christmas was over I planted it in the back garden. It is a slow grower but it is doing so well, it is about 2ft tall now.
107/365 - 17th April
I was on the bus and went to take a selfie, I got such a shock when I noticed this man behind me especially since I was sat at the back of the bus. lol
108/365 - 18th April
We finally got our gas meter replaced and an added bonus we have a new electric smart meter and a fancy new display until for in the house. I can now see how much electric and gas we're using. I now know when the kids are not switching things off. hehehe
109/365 - 19th April
I got some new trainers from Primark when I was in town. Mickey Mouse one's. I was going to go for plain white one's but they were just so white. I thought these were something a little bit different.
110/365 - 20th April
Ellie was given the GCSE exam timetable a few weeks ago but it listed every exam, lots of them she wasn't doing like P.E, History and Health & Social care so I condensed it down to just her subjects. It's a lot easier to read and make sense of.
111/365 - 21st April
I got the food shop from Iceland this week and had to buy the Terry's Chocolate Orange ice cream to give it a try.
Hi Kim!!! Hyacinths are my absolute favorite! And I need to try that chocolate orange ice cream! Santa puts those chocolate oranges in our stocking every year :)
ReplyDeleteOoh that ice cream sounds nice. The timetable sounds like a good idea, easier to focus on what's coming up. My mum did the same with an old Christmas tree of hers years ago. It got really tall in the end - in fact just over the other side of our fence there's an old Christmas tree planted too. It's huge!
ReplyDeleteThose are muscari. Sometimes known as ‘grape hyacinths’ but definitely not actual hyacinths! Lovely though.
ReplyDeleteI love those new Mickey sneakers!! They're so cute. That ice cream sounds good.
ReplyDeleteLove the Mickey Mouse Trainers. The chocolate orange ice cream sounds really yummy. Good luck to Ellie with her exams when the time comes
ReplyDeleteI cannot find our monitor that goes with our smart meter and for some reason I cannot link my phone, which is frustrating. Eliza has those trainers, I wish I had got some for me too
ReplyDeleteLove the hyacinths. It’s lovely when things like that pop up unexpectedly in the garden – we had bluebells appear in ours this year. Lol I can imagine the man in the background gave you a shock – lovely selfie of you though. Makes sense to condense the exam list down to just the ones Ellie is doing. Good luck to her with her GCSEs. #project365
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are pretty! I remember when we first got a smart meter I was obsessively watching it! Oh gosh, almost time for the GCSE's! Good luck to Ellie!
ReplyDeleteLove love love those trainers! My kids would go wild for that ice cream, I'll look out for it. #project365
