Our weekly meal plan! 17th - 23rd April. #MealPlanningMonday

Our weekly meal plan

Last weeks meal plan went pretty well. We ate almost everything, all we didn't eat was the salad. With the weather we've been having we wanted warm food. This week the weather is set to be a bit warmer and dryer. Hooray!

The Easter holidays are almost over, Ellie has a teachers training day today so we're having one last day of fun and we're having a family day out. Then it will be Ellie's last half term at school. Her GCSE's start next month and she leaves school shortly after. Eek!

On Tuesday we have the gas engineer coming to fix the gas meter. I will believe it when it happens since British Gas have messed me around for the last month or so. I blogged about it in my Word of the Week post a couple of weeks ago. All they have to do is take the old meter out and put a new one in. For the rest of the week I don't have any plans apart from catching up on some blogging things and if the weather is nice getting out in the garden.

On the menu this week we have:

Monday - We will just snack when we get home as we are planning to have lunch out.
Tuesday - Something out of the freezer with chips. The gas man is coming between 1pm and 5pm and the gas & electric is planned to be switched off for at least an hour so we're going for something quick.
Wednesday - A midweek roast dinner! Roast chicken a ton of veg, Yorkshire puddings and lots of gravy.
Thursday - Leftover roast dinner pie with mashed potato.
Friday - Meatballs, spaghetti and garlic bread.
Saturday - Leftover meatballs in buns covered in cheese.
Sunday - Toad in the hole, mash and vegetables.

What are you eating this week?

  4. That meal plan sounds lush, it's just mocks here currently and then some GCSEs in June. Good luck though and hope a fab outfit is found for prom.
