I have seen many people on social media list something every day that they are grateful for and thought I would join in and have on my private Facebook account every day and I thought I would share here too.
I did this for the whole of last year and it has really made me realise that even on the bad day's I have something to be grateful for.

Today I am grateful for Voltarol gel. I've hurt my neck in the stupidest way, by sneezing and I've put some on and it's helping! Phew!

Today I am grateful for Disney+ and finally getting to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 3. It was so good and I may have cried a few times.

Today I am grateful for a fun trip to the cinema with my girls to see the Barbie movie. It was such a good film.

Today I am grateful for Heartstopper!! Ellie's finished watching it, Becky was an episode ahead of me but she's gone to bed and I'm catching up now. hehehe

Today I am grateful for a roast dinner! It's been ages since I last made one. It was thoroughly enjoyed and there's leftovers for tomorrow to go in a pie.

Today I am grateful that the buses are back to normal here. They've been doing roadworks and diverting them for the past couple of weeks.

Today I am grateful that I could stay inside in my cool house. This house seems so much cooler since we had the insulated wall put in on the window wall in the living room. It seems to keep the hot out just as much as it keeps the heat in when it's cold.

Today I am grateful for finding a new favourite thing to eat in our local cafe. A simple ham salad sandwich. There was just the right amount of everything in it and it somehow tasted better than I ever make.

Today I am grateful for BBC iPlayer and a night of watching Doctor Who since there was nothing on normal TV.

Today I am grateful for just a nice Sunday. Good food, saw family and spent a good chunk of it sat in front of the TV.

Today I am grateful for Ellie's school. They have been fantastic with her and pushed her in the best way to get the GCSE grades that she did. Tomorrow she enrols in college and starts a new part of her life.

Today I am grateful that Ellie is all set for college. Today she met her tutor and some of the teachers, got her timetable, ID, bus pass and we bought her some new stationery from town.

Today I was grateful that the weeks and months of planning all worked out and my family was happy with the hotel that I chose! Phew!

Isn't getting older awful sometimes?! Sneezing and hurting your neck.. my husband threw his back off one day last year tying his shoes! What a wonderful month of favorites/things to be grateful for! Today I'm thankful that our heatwave gave Alec extra time at home since all the schools had 1/2 days.
