Conker season! #MySundaySnapshot

It's that time of year where all the horse chestnut trees around us drop their spiky cases to reveal their conkers. Ellie only went to the shop yesterday and came back with a handful. I will be expecting many more over the next few weeks, she does like collecting them.

    I'm not sure I've ever seen a chestnut tree. I just know it from a Christmas song. #MMBC

    I never knew what conkers were until a few years ago when I watched a cartoon and the character was playing a game with conkers.

    There is always something so tempting about conkers! Even now when I see shiny ones I really want to pick them up, but I leave them for children to collect.
