A photo every day for a year! 26th August - 1st September. Week 35 of #Project365

What a week, I don't feel like I have stopped for breath, well apart from Sunday when we sacked off our plans and had a lazy day. I am glad we did as we haven't stopped since. We've had Ellie's birthday, packing and a little break away. My poor legs are aching with all the walking we've done but it has been worth it. We've eaten out loads, been on tours on open top buses, window shopped a lot, had amazing hotel breakfasts and now we're by the seaside in a cottage ready for a family wedding.

Usually I like to have my Project 365 post done by Friday tea time, there was no chance this week so here I am at almost 9pm typing away and trying to pick just once photo for each day while we've been away. I've taken hundreds. hehehe There's been no editing apart from putting them in PicMonkey to join 2 lots of 2 photos.

Now for a photo every day!

Ellie's birthday presents were finally wrapped. She knew what most of them were so there was no big surprises.

Becky got herself a framed Freddie Mercury poster.

Ellie turned 16. She had a lovely day at the arcade place and then out for a meal and then we finished the last of the packing for our break away!

242/365 - 30th August
We knew we were nearly at Newcastle when we saw The Angel of The North.

243/365 - 31st August
The Tyne bridge.

Wow so much fun. Love Freddie, my eldest also loves Freddie Murcury (i wonder if it is something to do with singing queen songs to him late at night when I did night feeds as a baby lol)

  3. Happy birthday Ellie. Glad you had a good break up north. Sounds like it was fun. I was also aching from the walking we did on ours. It really showed me how unfit I am.

  5. Happy 16th Birthday to Ellie. I hope Becky packed everything she needed. It's been a while since I've visited that part of the world. The Angel of the North is a lot bigger in real life than what I expected

  8. Sounds like a wonderful break you had. Happy birthday Ellie, gosh she must have been the youngest of her year with a birthday so late in August, hope she enjoyed her day and all those lovely presents. My son turned 16 in June, I don't think there were many younger than him (maybe three or four).
