Our weekly meal plan! 6th - 12th May. #MealPlanningMonday


Last weeks meal plan went pretty well. On Tuesday Becky helped with the cooking and made the chicken stir fry and noodles with not much help from me. It was delicious and Stu cooked a couple of meals too so it was nice to have a break from the cooking. Food always tastes better when someone else cooks it! Last night we decided to get a Chinese takeaway and I wish we hadn't bothered. It was horrible. Some of it was under cooked, over salted and some of the order was missing. Ugh.

This week on the menu we have:

Tuesday - Egg, chips and baked beans.
Wednesday - Fish pie with sweetcorn.
 Thursday - Hot dogs in buns with corn on the cob.
Friday - Pizza.
Sunday - A fry up. Sausages, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, black pudding, beans and tomatoes.

    Lovely sounding menu this week. Egg and chips always works for me! And I've been to look at the wrap recipe which sounds easy and delicious. Definitely one to try!

    Your whole week sound delicious! You always have things on your menu that I look at and go yum, why didn't I think of that!

    I hate it when that happens with a takeaway, especially when you are looking forward to it too.

    Ooh We love Hawaiian chicken and BBQ chicken so mixing those up sounds like it has great potential ! :) Shame about your takeaway being under par - boo !

    Those chicken wraps sound delicious! What a shame about the Chinese though - gutting when that happens!

    Oooo the rice for sure does sound like it is going to be tasty. For sure this is something which we are going to end up making in the future. I am sure.

    you are so right food always does taste better when cooked by someone else. This is the second hot dog meal this week got me thinking now
