A photo every day for a year! 1st - 7th July Week 27 of #Project365

What a week! We started it off with 2 days at a country show and ended it with prom, a long lie in and a lazy day yesterday. We needed it. Things seem to have been busy for the last few weeks and I am just about done with being busy. I am looking at the calendar and we have nothing on for almost two weeks which I am glad about, I'm not used to all of this excitement.

Now for a photo every day!

Horse and carriage
Ghost train and bath bomb
Flower and bookshelves
My youngest dressed up and Threads

182/365 - 1st July
We spent the weekend at a country show and on day one we spent most of it sat around the main arena watching what was going on. Motorbikes, horses, scurry racing and things like that.

183/365 - 2nd July
Our 2nd day at the show and it was more about the fun things like lots of delicious food and fairground rides. Ellie dragged her dad on the ghost train and a few other rides, I was keeping my feet firmly on the floor.

184/365 - 3rd July
I got this Harry Potter bath bomb from the show and forgot to use it when I went in the bath on Monday and every bath since. lol I will remember to use it eventually!

185/365 - 4th July
A pretty flower in my garden. Over the last week everything seems to be blooming thanks to all of the rain. The grass has really grown too and I am going to cut it today.

186/365 - 5th July
I took Ellie to join the library. Over the last few years she has got back into reading and has been buying books but why buy them when you can borrow them. It's going to save me a small fortune.

187/365 - 6th July
Prom day! Ellie spent hours getting ready and it was worth it, she looked amazing and everything went to plan. She had the best evening with all of her friends and didn't get home until after half past ten. Eesh!

188/365 - 7th July
We had a prom hangover so we had a lazy day. I of course joined Threads on Thursday when it was launched but didn't have time to look at it until yesterday. Instagram was the only social media that I didn't rename when I changed my blog name, I'm Kimmer2111 on there. I like it, it reminds me of Twitter years ago when it was all chat and good things. I hope they come up with a desktop version soon, I am not used to using my phone for social media.

  1. Glad I'm not the only one who wants desktop threads. It's so much faster on laptop than on my phone, I can have multiple things I'm working on at once that way. I love a country fair, but we've not been to one for a while. Think we'll be at one early September

  3. What a lovely week you had. Looks like you had a great time at the show. Ellie looks amazing going to her prom – love the dress and her hair. I like Threads too – it also reminds me of Twitter when it was more chatty and less full of trolls and people posting links. #project365

  6. I love a good country show. 10.30pm doesn’t sound late to me for a prom. Our school had parents running parties after prom. I’ve had enough of all these new platforms where everyone follows the same people. Chickenruby x
