Last weeks meal plan pretty much went to plan. I had a rubbish day on Wednesday and I ended up telling Stu to get some Greggs sausage rolls and we ended up having them with home made chips. It was just what I needed to cheer me up.
Last week I learned how to make poached eggs in the microwave thanks to Nomipalony's Insta Stories. It takes longer to boil the kettle than it does to make them. lol I have had them a couple of times for lunch and I'm planning on making them for the kids this week too.
On Thursday the kids break up for half term. Hooray! It doesn't actually seem that long since they went back to school but they are excited for 10 days off school! I am hoping for a couple of lie in's.
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings.
Tuesday - Bubble & Squeak with poached eggs.
Wednesday - A fry up. Sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding, beans and toast.
Thursday - Leftover bolognese out of the freezer over jacket potatoes.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Scampi chips and peas.
Sunday - Pie, mash and veg.
Oh, I love Bubble & Squeak! But no-one else does here, so can I come to yours for tea?! x

Sounds delicious, I have never tried bubble and squeak but will check it out :)
ReplyDeleteSome lovely comfort food in there and some I should probably avoid as I need to shed some pounds and stones for that matter. Love the reminder of bubble and squeak - always a favourite #MMBC
ReplyDeleteWe're having fry up too this week! And there is always Bolognese sauce leftover here too.
