Last weeks meal plan went pretty well. We ate everything and I ended up having two all day breakfasts in one day. My fella and I went out for breakfast on Wednesday. I'd forgotten I had planned the same for the evening meal. The kids hadn't forgotten and I had the same again. hehehe Oops.
This week is half term week and we have a few things planned, most of it involves staying at home so the meal plan should go to plan. Fingers crossed!
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Chicken casserole with mash.
Tuesday - Home made pizza.
Wednesday - Hot dogs in buns, fries and corn on the cob.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Sushi. We made it last year & I think we should again!
Sunday - A roast dinner of some sort.
Hehe love the two cooked breakfasts in one day ! It all sounds very nice to me :)

ReplyDeleteDefinitely the time of year for lovely slow cooked casseroles, we had my favourite lamb one the other day. I always serve it with rice but we had some instant garlic mash in the cupboard which had come in a degustabox a couple of months ago. I didn't think it would go down as well as it did, I'll definitely be looking for it in the supermarket now, it was delicious, and took 2 mins to make. It didn't taste anything like the old Smash potato from my childhood.

ReplyDeleteYou're so good making your own sushi, I love it! So sorry for being slack this week, I had a couple of days in bed with a terrible bug. Normal service will resume now!
